A consultation is required prior to confirming your appointment. If this is your first visit to Alchemy, I strongly recommend booking a Skin consultation at least 2 weeks prior to ascertain suitability for treatment and, where necessary, discussing alternative treatments that may meet your needs. You will also need to be prepared to prep your skin with homecare prior to treatment.

A course of treatments and the use of correct, pharmaceutically graded homecare is strongly recommended for best results.

Treatment Explained

The needling pen pricks the skin’s surface with tiny needles up to a depth of 1.5mm. It creates channels into the epidermis and dermis and these micro-injuries trigger the wound healing process where growth factors (natural substances capable of stimulating cell growth) are subsequently released, which promotes the production of healthy collagen, elastin and GAG’s (the skin’s moisture binders).

My needling treatments are advanced and include a chemical peel or enzymatic treatment, the use of Hyaluronic acid or Growth factors and Dermalux LED therapy to finish the treatment to enhance healing and provide you with outstanding, medically graded, results-driven service. Downtime? 

Up to 10 days, you can wear mineral make-up after 48 hours. You will look red/sunburned for a few days or more during this time, flaking can occur and you can have some deeper needle line marks in areas of concern.

This may be unsuitable if you are/have:

• Prone to cold sores (I recommend contacting your Dr for a suppressant)
• Pregnant 
• Thyroid issues.
• Claustrophobic (Due to the use of the Celuma panel)
• Using medication known to cause skin sensitivity such as Roaccutane.
• Have been diagnosed with cancer in the past 12 months. A Dr's note will be required.
