What is mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine micro injections of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid cocktails are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin. This infusion of medically graded ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity.
What can it do for you?
Mesotherapy can instantly improve dull, tired looking skin and superficial wrinkles but can also help to improve sluggish blood circulation, aiding the body to flush out ageing toxins. This treatment can also be used to address pigmentation problems, treat acne scarring and be combined to enhance the effects of other aesthetic treatments such as Botox or fillers.
Minimal.
Some people experience some minimal redness which can last up to 48 hours but usually disappears within a few hours of the treatment. When receiving one of my targeted treatments utilising the Nanosoft needles you may also see small papules under the skin, again these can last up to 48 hours but usually disappear within a few hours.
You may have some prolonged erythema in the skin as a result of the peel used pre-treatment, this normally subsides within 48 hours.
Sometimes little bruising and swelling may occur but it will be short lived and should settle within 24 hours – skin will become more radiant, hydrated, nourished and firmer with an improved texture.
I use two different methods of application:
Nappage: Used in the medical facials. A fine needle is used to distribute the incredible cocktail of vitamins and minerals across the entire face and neck, virtually painless. Little to no downtime and an instant plumped, dewy glow.
Nano-Soft: Used for the targeted treatments. An industry changing needle designed to deliver the vitamin cocktail at the perfect depth, used for targeted work. Minimal discomfort, a mild pricking sensation in certain areas.
Targeted work: A minimum of 3 sessions is required at 2- 3 weeks apart dependant on area, this is the starting point and a further course may to be required. Maintenance is then recommended a few times per year.
Meso Medical Facials: Can be a standalone treatment for a special occasion or skin boost but required every 6 weeks to maintain.
You will also have the chance to add target work onto your Micro-needling treatments to amplify your results and you’ll also be able to add targeted work onto the meso medical nappage facial.
